How to book and where the savings apply
To receive the discount, members must sign in to their IHG One Rewards account and book through IHG's official website or app. The participating hotel's booking page shows the discount when the reservation is made.
For a stay paid for entirely with points, the offer reduces the required points by 15%. A Points & Cash reservation also qualifies, but the reduction applies only to its cash component.
Hotel selection and booking deadlines
As of November 2026, participating properties have booking deadlines ranging from November 30, 2026, to April 30, 2027. Since March 2026, IHG has expanded the window for these deadlines from about three months ahead to as much as six months.
Properties that have recently appeared include InterContinental Presidente Mexico City Miyana, a Kimpton all-inclusive in Playa del Carmen, a Crowne Plaza in Times Square, a voco in Shenyang, and an InterContinental in Taipei. The selection has also featured newly built Garner, Candlewood Suites, and Holiday Inn Express hotels across the U.S.
A hotel's appearance on an earlier list does not establish its current eligibility. Before reserving, members should consult IHG's current new-hotel offer page to confirm both participation and the property's exact booking deadline.
Restrictions for Chase IHG cardholders
For members with a qualifying Chase IHG Rewards credit card, the 15% offer cannot be used together with the "Fourth Reward Night Free" benefit on reservations covering four or more consecutive Reward Nights. The discount remains available for stays of up to three consecutive Reward Nights.
Chase's terms for the IHG One Rewards Credit Card also introduce a spending requirement for that cardmember benefit in 2027. Cardmembers must make at least $5,000 in purchases during a calendar year to unlock Fourth Reward Night Free. After they qualify, the benefit stays available through the rest of that calendar year and the following calendar year.
