Catalog sales and batch documentation
Péptidos Verificados offers direct purchases in Mexican pesos across a catalog of 39 compounds in 48 presentations, with FedEx delivery throughout Mexico. Product pages include presentation details and batch-specific certificates of analysis, or COAs. The site also includes a GLP collection, research resources in Spanish and pages serving 16 Mexican cities.
The second site covers retatrutide, also identified as LY-3437943, which acts on the GLP-1, GIP and glucagon receptors. Péptido Retatrutida provides batch specifications and a Vanguard Laboratory COA, along with explanations of how to read the certificate and comparisons with tirzepatide and semaglutide.
Benson Jamison of Certified PEP said the two-site approach responds to researchers seeking documentation they can check themselves: one site gathers the catalog, while the other concentrates on retatrutide. Each vial has a QR code linking directly to its batch report on the testing laboratory's website.
According to Certified PEP MEX, manufacturing takes place at a U.S. facility that complies with cGMP requirements. Independent laboratories test the peptides, most often Vanguard Laboratory of Olympia, Washington, which holds ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation.
Research material is distinct from the clinical product
Retatrutide is still investigational and has no approval as a medicine from either the FDA or Mexico's COFEPRIS. Certified PEP MEX distinguishes the research-grade material it sells from the pharmaceutical product used in clinical trials; the clinical findings do not constitute claims about the supplier's products.
The company limits its products to in-vitro laboratory research. They are not intended for consumption, human or veterinary use, clinical applications, diagnosis, treatment or disease prevention. Certified PEP MEX provides no dosing or administration instructions and says the statements in its announcement have not been evaluated by the FDA or COFEPRIS.
Retatrutide's Phase 3 results and filing plans
Eli Lilly reported positive findings from TRIUMPH-2 and TRIUMPH-3 on July 23, 2026, bringing retatrutide's total to five positive Phase 3 studies. The company plans to file a Biologics License Application with the FDA in the first quarter of 2027.
TRIUMPH-2 enrolled and randomized 1,152 adults who had type 2 diabetes and either obesity or overweight. In Lilly's July topline report, average body-weight loss at 80 weeks was 12.7% for the 4 mg group, 19.1% for the 9 mg group and 20.8% for the 12 mg group, compared with 4.0% for placebo. Reported A1C reductions reached 1.6 percentage points.
Lilly released more detailed TRIUMPH-2 findings on September 29, 2026. Those results appeared in The Lancet and were presented at the 62nd EASD Annual Meeting in Milan. At the study's end, 59.5% of participants receiving 12 mg no longer met the BMI threshold for obesity. In the subgroup whose starting BMI was at least 35, average weight loss with 12 mg reached 23.4%.
The initial TRIUMPH program consists of four global registrational trials launched in 2023, with total enrollment exceeding 5,800. Lilly and a peer-reviewed review in Pharmaceutics reported efficacy-estimand weight reductions with 12 mg of 28.3% at 80 weeks in TRIUMPH-1 and 28.7% at 68 weeks in TRIUMPH-4, the knee osteoarthritis trial.
Lilly's Phase 3 research also spans obesity or overweight with at least one weight-related condition, type 2 diabetes, knee osteoarthritis pain, moderate-to-severe obstructive sleep apnea, chronic low back pain, cardiovascular and renal outcomes, and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease, or MASLD.
TRIUMPH-3: Weight loss and uncertain cardiovascular outcomes
TRIUMPH-3 randomized 1,949 adults with established cardiovascular disease and severe obesity, defined as a BMI of at least 35 kg/m2. Lilly's July 23 report put average weight loss at 80 weeks at 21.6% with 9 mg and 22.6% with 12 mg, versus 3.2% with placebo.
For the 12 mg group, Lilly also reported reductions of 37.0% in triglycerides, 16.5% in non-HDL cholesterol and 51.2% in high-sensitivity C-reactive protein. Systolic blood pressure fell by 9.3 mmHg, and waist circumference decreased by 7.5 inches.
The trial's pre-specified cardiovascular event analyses did not establish a clear outcome. MACE-5, a composite covering all-cause death, heart attack, stroke, heart failure events or coronary revascularization, occurred in 44 retatrutide participants versus 52 receiving placebo. The hazard ratio was 0.82, with a 95% confidence interval of 0.55 to 1.22. For MACE-3, the hazard ratio was 1.12, with a 95% confidence interval of 0.64 to 1.96. The Pharmaceutics review concluded that neither estimate demonstrates cardiovascular benefit or rules out clinically relevant harm.
Mexico's regulatory context
Grey Peptides' Mexico regulatory page reports that BPC-157, TB-500, CJC-1295, ipamorelin, GHK-Cu, melanotan II and epitalon lack COFEPRIS sanitary registration. In July 2026, Deputy Ivonne Aracelly Ortega Pacheco introduced legislation to add Article 215 Bis to the General Health Law, prohibiting the sale, distribution and marketing of these research peptides to the public. The proposal remained a bill, not law, as of October 3, 2026, according to the page.
Grey Peptides also cites COFEPRIS communiqué 77/2024, issued June 4, 2024. The regulator warned physicians and the public about indiscriminate semaglutide and liraglutide use and advised against purchasing medicines from online platforms, social media or informal sellers. It has also published alerts about falsified products, including Ozempic, Wegovy and Saxenda pens.
